My first album review. Here goes:

I find myself totally hooked by this album. at first i was just listening to "Lemon Meringue Tie". then "Open Your Eyes and Look North" The album by Dance Gavin Dance was released on the year 2007. so it only means it is 3 years old, still i am making a review on it.

Nevertheless, Here are my thoughts on the album(by tracks).

1.Untitled- Great intro for the 2nd track. Acoustic guitar, and voice programmed, perfect for opening a song.

2. And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman- The untitled introduction, got justified. As expected, AWESOME voice by Jonny Craig and Jon Mess is bad-ass.

3. Its Safe To Dig The Backseat- LOVE THE LYRICS! the tone is melo dramatic.(rnb?)

4. Strawberry Andre- The start of the fruit titles. Catchy chorus and the screams are quite melodic.

5.Lemon Meringue Tie- AWESOME!AWESOME! this song is originally awesome. Craig started the with clean lyrics, moderately building for a surprise the scream part of Mess.

6.The Backwards Pumpkin Song- MAGNIFICENT!MAGNIFICENT! Catchy very catchy. The guitar riffs are awesome, Craig's smooth voice is relevant.

7. Antlion- GUITAR RIFFS are the REAL DEAL.!

8. Turn Off The Lights I'm Watching Back To The Future- IT IS SURREAL TONIGHT! another clean and vindictive type of lyrical arrangements. The starting lyrics will make you wanting for more.

9. Open Your Eyes and Look North- The 1st part of the lyrics will eventually tell you to get up for sunrise.

10. Suprise! I'm From Cuba. Everyone Has One Brain- This track is my least favorite. It is clean, and accurate in its parts. The ending part of the song is kinda the introduction for the last track.

11. 12 Hours. 630 Miles- it started with an acoustic, it will end with a acoustic. CRAIG"s voice is again JUSTIFIED the album.it is short, yet memorable.

I really wanted to thank Dance Gavin Dance, for sharing to us their great music, they are very ORIGNAL, emo leaning, yet had a post hardcore elements, VERY UNIQUE! Plus Jonny Crag's voice, is the best singer for my generation.He is in my top fave of singers. the Guitar rifs are awesome too and who can forget Jon Mess screams? I am so sure they are memorable. I think that its all for my 1st album review.
